Guidance Lessons

Guidance lessons are a critical part of the PPISD Counseling Program.

• Lessons are campus and age specific.
• Lessons are data driven to best support student growth in areas such as:
  • Academic
  • Career
  • Social
  • Emotional
  • Mental Health
• Lessons are delivered in a variety of settings and can vary by campus and/or grade level.
• The following are mandated lessons/topics that are covered each year:
  • PPHS & PPMS
    • Suicide Prevention
    • Bullying Prevention
    • Drug Awareness - including Fentanyl
    • Healthy Relationships / Dating Violence
    • Personal Safety
  • PPES & PPECC
    • Bullying Prevention
    • Drug Awareness
    • Personal Safety
